Dove Hunting in Seymour Texas - 2 Days

Dove Hunting in Seymour - 2 Days

Dove Hunting in Seymour - 2 Days

Dove Hunting in Seymour - 2 Days -- Our ranch is one of the few ranches in Texas that actually has a year round habitat management program specifically for the benefit of the dove population. With money, cooporative weather, and scientific principles we have created a haven for migrating dove colonies and our results prove it. We sow fields of milo and sunflowers that attract birds by the thousands from miles away. For example, during the 2003 dove season, our hunters harvested 11, 272 doves!
With numbers like this, why would you want to go to Mexico or Argentina to hunt dove when you can go to north-central Texas and wingshoot at some of the best dove hunting North of the border?

"I've never been on a hunt like this in my life ... The birds were coming in flocks of 75-100 birds at a time. The bad news was my hunt only lasted 30 minutes and I had my limit ... Unbeliveable!" - Bob Daniels 30 year dove hunter

The majority of these hunts only last a few hours. With statistics like that you have to come out and see it for yourself! We will let the birds speak for us.

Guide owned dogs are hunt tested and spend hundreds of days in the field each year. Your dog should be capable of sitting perfectly still while beneath cover and should not break.

IT is a crying shame to disgrace a fine cut of tenderized and hand rubbed meat by exposing it to a fire composed of smelly propellant fumes and charcoal. At our ranch, we grill and smoke our meats over propellant free mesquite wood in our chuck wagon grill and smoker. The hot mesquite fire and sweet mesquite smoke yield a final product with taste beyond compare.
